Tanya has been a resident of Slidell, Louisiana since the mid 60s. She graduated from Slidell Senior High School then attended Southeastern Louisiana University before entering Radiologic Technology School at Charity Hospital of New Orleans. She worked as a Special Procedures Technologist at Slidell Memorial Hospital and Doctors Hospital of Jefferson for approximately ten years before becoming a certified freelance court reporter. In 1993, Tanya became a licensed REALTOR and has practiced as a full-time REALTOR for the past 26 years. In 2019, she joined the Engel & Völkers family.
Tanya is married to Jim Witchen who is a pharmacist with Northshore Rehabilitation Hospital in Lacombe. They celebrated their 32nd anniversary in September 2019. They have one daughter, Chelsea, who is married to Brandon Fleming. They also have a grandson, Colby Fleming, who is 3 years old.
Tanya enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies are traveling, pottery, diving, and watching sunrises. She is the epitome of "Loving What You Do & Doing What You Love".
Tanya believes in giving back to the community. Her ongoing volunteering efforts and service that she provides to several organizations are evident in her continued community participation.
